I just want to inform my blog readers and followers; specially those who are asking me about tablet PC specs that I've decided to focus more tech news and reviews; that is why I'm inviting everyone to my new tech blog: Weekend Tech Notes. I already made a Facebook Fanpage and Twitter account there. I'll update the blog every weekend (since it is my only free time to write some blogpost.); so keep connected for the latest updates on tech news and gadgets.

For those who leave some questions on my popular blogpost; aPad (iPad Clone) Buyers' Guide; don't worry because I made a special category for that: Readers's Corner. Here, all the questions asked by my readers will be answered by a full blog post (unlike before that I just replied on your questions thru comments). I'll do my best to cover up all the questions that have been post there.

Hi, guys! First of all, I want to apologize for skipping (again!) our Featured Pinay Online Gamer last week. Due to my heavy workload in my office, I wasn't able to allocate time to write for this blog series,and also for the "Featured Pinoy Online Gamer" and "Tablet Review" series. I know you've been waiting for this; so; here it is!

Our Featured Pinay Online Gamer of the Week is a very special one. I knew this gal so much; and I knew her more than any other gamers that she played with. I've already thought of featuring her in my blog since the first day I started this Featured Pinay Online Gamer of the Week series; but I really wait for this very special date for me to feature her in my blog.

Today; May 18, 2001; I'm very proud to introduce the the beautiful pilot of "darkfreak" from Hellios Infinitium Guild and our Featured Pinay Online Gamer of the Week who is no other than Rocel Pimentel Arbes; my very own and beloved wife:

Rocel and I were happily married for exactly five (5) months now. She is working as a High School Science teacher in a respected private school in Caloocan City. Despite of her busy schedule and heavy workload in her school, she is still to do her part as my wife (cooking our food, doing our laundry, etc). She can still manage to play Dragonica PH with me whenever we have our free time together.

Rocel; a.k.a. "darkfreak"; is playing Dragonica PH with me since the very first of Dragonica PH OBT. Though she is not a PVP type of player; for me; she is a strong one. She controls her character very well; and even my own character. Well, I think I've said a lot about her already; let us ask her more personally about her gaming life:

Kiko: When did you start to play online games?

Rocel: matagal na..2003 pa un...16 lng ako..1st year college...HAPPY NA? KUHA MO?? hehehe ^_^

Kiko: Obviously, I'm the one who taught you to play Dragonica PH (LOL!). I wonder who thought you to play your first online game?

Rocel: duh?! feeling mo nman....asus.. classmate ko nung college mlamang...si Ginoong Agaton Balubal..hindi ko n nga lng alam kung nsaan n un..siya nag-aya sa akin noon sa khabaan ng san marcelino st., ermita, manila pra maglaro ng ragnarok (sobrang haba kc ng vacant nmin...tpos pgdating ng school, wla png prof...hahaha) at dun ngsimula ang lahat...wahahaha ^_^

Kiko: In playing online games, what are the level of the strongest character you've made?

Rocel: dti ung sa ragnarok...80+ wizard ako dun...tpos next sa DGN..kc umabot din ako ng third job (3.25 more levels to go) goin' to fourth job na din..

Kiko: In your current game, how did you manage to make your character strong like that? (asides from asking help from me?)

Rocel: huh?! feeling mo nman malakas qa? malaCASH qa lng ngaun noh... i still remember, iniiwan mo p nga character ko dti tpos kung knino ka p nk2pg-party...buti na lang CUTE si DARKFREAK...maraming mabibihag sa kaCUTEan non..mdami nk2pag-party, khit low level p sya. remember, mas nauna p nga ako mg-alvida expert kesa sa'yo nung low level plng tayo..wahahaha ^_^

Kiko: LOL! Oh sya, ikaw na malakas! Hehehe!

Kiko: What is your most unforgettable moment in playing online games? Asides from having our wedding ceremony in Dragonica PH?

Rocel: ahh..mdami eh..nung low level plng ako, naalala ko p nga...PALAGI MO AKO INIIWAN SA LABAS NG MISSION MAP...buti nlng may sawsaw n acolyte sa field somewhere in milkyway sanctuary..ung inaway ko pero inspite of that, sinali p nya ako sa party..tpos nging friend n kmi (khit sa FB)..ayon, palagi n kmi party..BITTER ka p nga dti kc KICK ka niya kpag sasali ka sa party nmin dalawa...DB???

Kiko: Hahahaha! Oo, pang asar yun, Ako na Knight, kick sa party ng 2 magician class? Hehehe. OK lang, masarap din yung may kasamang healer sa grupo.

Rocel: wag ka nga magulo...moment ko to..ini-invite mo ako as featured pinay online gamer of the week tpos sisingit ka jan!! mya ka na...

...at tuloy ang kwento..(hahaha...^_^) pero pinakamalupit nung ng job change n from battlemage to warmage...ang dkilang acolyte buddy ko...level 47 oracle na (adik kc)..bumaba p tlga ng valid raeth from god's sanctuary para tulungan ako sa lavalon dungeon..e2 malupit...

Kiko: LOL! Hehehe. Anyway, for our next question: Do you have plan to join any gaming competition in future?

Rocel: if meron b nman eh...EW xympre..kya lng bc sa work lalo n ngaun mlapit n ulit resume ng classes..kya below p sa lvl requirements ng guild.. ^_^

Kiko: As a teacher playing online games, any message to our fellow gamers who still go to school?

Rocel: ehem...ehem...how i wish wla akong stupidents (stupid students) n mkbasa neto..as an educator (wtf..english un, taglish n lng) , aral lng ng mabuti guys..ok mg-laro, but don't forget to aim higher goal in life. "WALANG SENSE ung pgiging MALAKAS in-game kung WEAK in real life"..malakas nga character mo; have you asked yourself...ano b status mo sa real world society? Don't waste your time in doing such STUPID thing like cutting classes, asking for higher amount of allowance from your parents, etc. just to satisfy your cravings in playing online game.

Kiko: Anything else you want to say?

Rocel: salamat sa aking mhal n ex bf...(syempre asawa ko n eh) na si francis a.k.a. fortress..sa mga guildmates nmin (Hellios Infinitium)..na sina gemeleigh, boss luci, spakiki (SpaksDaddy daw sbi niya), Venia, PahNext, SlasherX, Reelpot, Sunnyside..at sa iba png kakulitan sa FB group page..hi din sa iba pang in-game fwend ko..kina DarkEyes (sya ung papabol oracle... kya lng quit n)..Daemotheo (oh ayan huh..binati pa rin kita khit gg ka).. kanamee.. For our Featured Pinoy Online Gamer for today, let us get to know one of guys who inspired me to start featuring male gamers. Asides from Kent Cebedo, this guy also pushed me to start a blog series for male gamers like them. Andhe is the 1st one who sent his application for being Featured Pinoy Online Gamer. But, due to some conflict, we had some delayed. Anyway, things are already fixed now, so, here it is! Let us get to know this young Dragonica Player from Malabon City; IamROBSXD, or Robbie Hilario Hernandez in real life:

As a co-forumer of Robs, I can say that he is "makulit"; in a way di naman nakakaasar. I often see him in different threads in Dragonica PH Forums. Though is he a little bit "makulit", it seems he is kind to his fellow co-forumers and gamers. Well, let us just see what Robbie can share about himself:

Birthday: August 21, 1993

Birthplace: Malabon city

Occupation: Sa ngayon di ko pa talaga alam kung ano gusto kong kunin na course, pero gusto ko talaga ng fine arts dahil hilig ko ang pagdo-drawing ngunit sabi nila ay wala akong mapapala sa larangan na iyan. Kaya ngayon ay naghahanap pa din ako.

Madaldal makipagchat pero sa personal ,sobrang mahiyain unless na feeling ko close na tayo. dun mo makikita kung gano ko kakulit. Kiko: How do make your characters so strong like that?

Robs: Strong ba yun? Haha I don't think so. Maybe, sabi nung iba. I don't used cash to earn gold, I just go farming in dungeons mula umaga hangang gabi,since may sarili na kong laptop. May unlimited time pa ko.

Kiko: How do you manage and balance your in-game and real-world life?

Robs: Mahirap magbalance e. Minsan nakakalimutan na kumain kakalaro, di ko na namamalayan yung oras. Other than that, okay naman. Now? as in walang patayan, pahinga konti, grind, farm, pahinga konti, hangang sa antukin. May times nga na pati antok nakakalimutan ko na. Still dilat pa din ako para mag farm.

Kiko: Have you come to the point that your gaming life affected your real life? Specially with your family and friends?

Robs: Madaming beses na. Dati natuto pa kong di pumasok dahil nagkayayaan kaming magkaibigan, pano boring daw yung Foundation Day. Kakalipat ko lang nun sa ibang school. Eh wala na kong nagawa, yun na. Dun na nagsimula. Pero past is past, tama na.

Kiko: There are lots on Pinay Online Gamers nowadays. Do you (by any chance) seek some proof to prove that the one who you're playing is a real girl? If so, WHY?

Robs: Is that a big deal? yes,ano naman ang masama? hihingin ang email sa FB. wala namang masama makipagkaibigan. just ask nicely para walang maging problema. :)

Kiko: Bakit ang TULIS nyo kapag nalaman nyo na "real "girl ung player?

Robs: Pinanganak ang lalake na may ganyang attitude e. Okay lang naman, kahit ako inaamin ko may times na ganun ako. Pero alam ko sa sarili ko kung ano yung totoo at kung ano yung laro or biro lang.

Kiko: What do you exactly feel when you are 'constantly' pawned or owned by a girl in-game?

Robs: Okay lang. as long na walang trashtalk na nagaganap. kahit babae pa yan isang hirit lang niyan sasagutin ko yan. haha

pero kung di naman,e d ayos. may natutunan ako sa kanya. nadadagdagan ang WINS ko sa PVP dahil na din sa LOSES ko.

Kiko: Have you fall in love in-game?

Robs: Oo, high school ako nun, 2nd year ata. Ayoko na magkwento ng mahaba, basta communication lang namin is through texting. Jejemon pa ata ko magtext nun. Haha biro lang. e ayun, di din kami nagtagal. Mahirap din kasi yung magkalayo kayo. Di mo man lang mayakap.

Kiko: Hmm... Would you please share some part of your story about it?

Robs: PINUNTAHAN KO SILA SA BAHAY NILA SA PASIG,di niya alam na pupunta ko that time. i just asked her address. mula dito sa Malabon hanggang sa kanila. Di ko alam ang sasakyan,nagtanong lang ako sa mga MMDA at sa mga drivers at sa kung sino sinong tao na nakikita ko nun, tanong dito tanong dun. Hanggang sa nakaabot ako sa kanila. Swerte ko nga e, pagdating ko dun bawal siyang lumabas. Okay lang no hard feelings. :)

13 years old lang ata ako nun, gumala ako mag-isa. Walang kaalam alam. well, ewan ko.

Kiko: I have a special question for you; I hope you wouldn't mind. Ano ba real score niyo ni Michelle Rivera a.k.a Amaiyo? Just curious.

Robs: Nagsimula kasi yan nung naghahanap talaga ako ng couple in-game. syempre kahit papano gusto ko naman babae siya irl. tapos yun,nakita ko nga siya sa forums. Di ko naman itatanggi na nagagandahan ako sa kanya. Kaya yun, tinanong ko siya kung pwede. Buti naman pumayag siya. ayokong mabasted. lol,

Tapos yung salitang KABIYAK, since couple nga kami ingame, etong si ginoong PAHNEXT, tinagalog lahat ng salita habang nagchachat kami nun. Kaya yun, dun na nagsimula. Nasanay na kong tawagin siyang ganun. Inaamin ko, crush ko siya. Hehe yun lang. Pero di na kami pwedeng maging couple ngayon. Dahil sa iba na din owner ng character ko ngayon.

Sa magiging next couple niya ingame, wag niyo na siya tulisin. Baka paiyakin kayo niyan ng di oras.

Kiko: Kung di pwede maging kayo in-game, bakit di mo sya pwede tanungin kung pwede maging kayo for real? Payong kapatid lang. =)

Kiko: If you need to choose only one between two things: girlfriend or game; which one you'll choose NOW?

Robs: NOW? STUDIES pwede? hahah. Kahit puro laro ako ngayon, gustong gusto ko na magaral. Pero kung dyan sa dalawa ako mamimili,siguro GIRLFRIEND. Daming games dyan di mawawala yan. :)

Hindi naman habang buhay tayong bata.

Kiko: Nice answer, dude.

Kiko: Do you prefer your girlfriends to be gamers as well, or not? WHY?

Robs: Kahit anong klase siya ng tao, basta naramdaman mo na mahal mo siya at special siya sayo, huwag mo na pakawalan. Minsan lang dumarating ang opportunities na hinahanap mo, grab it fast. Sabi nga nila, nasa huli ang pagsisisi. Kaya don't waste time.

Kiko: Any tips for your fellow gamers in your current games?

Robs: Nagbago na ho ako. Di na ako nangaaway basta basta,haha. And salamat pala sa mga friends ko in-game. Di ko na kayo i memention isa isa. Kilala niyo na kung sino kayo, sana nandyan pa din kayo KAHIT UNAVAILABLE na ang Dragonica. Maybe sa ibang game makasama ko pa kayo, or kahit sa facebook man lang magkausap usap tayo.

Kiko: Anything else you want to say?

Hi guys! It’s time once again for our Featured Pinay Online Gamer of the Week! To start up the Month of May batch of Featured Pinay Online Gamer of the Week, let us get to know this "Awesome Gal" from Cavite; no other than April Rose Cuenca a.k.a. Leelith:

April Rose Cuenca; who just turned 22 last April 4; was borned and raise in Cavite. Unlike other Pinay Gamers that I’ve featured before, April just recently discovered the joys of online gaming and get hooked to it. “I used to just play other games, like God of War on our PS2 and online flash games on websites like Kongregate.com. I think I'd try other online games now. When I'm not playing online games, I like browsing interesting websites, watching movies and reading novels”, April said. Currently; she is actively playing Dragonica PH. Hmm... Let us ask her more:

Kiko: When Did You Start Playing Online Games?

April: Just last November 2010. I was 21 at the time.

Kiko: Where Did You Start To Play Online Games?

April: I started playing in Dragonica PH server. Still do..^^

Kiko: How did You Learn To Play Your First Online Game?

April: My brother influenced me to play Dragonica. I just saw him playing and I was intrigued. I thought the characters were really cute, so I decided to play. He taught me the basics of the game. Other things I learned from online buddies I met in DGN.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

April: The strongest character I've ever played is a level 58 out of 70 Ballista in Dragonica PH. It's my main character.

Kiko: How Did You Became So Strong Like That?

April: Just keep doing quests, and defense defense defense..

Kiko: You mean, defense maps, right? Yeah, it really fast to level up there!

Kiko: Have You Ever Joined In A Gaming Competition?

April: I haven't yet.. but I think it would be awesome to try and join one. I'm not a really strong player, so I'd probably join just for the experience..hehe

Kiko: What Have You Learn From Playing Online Games?

April: Don't be stupid and pick fights. It's just annoying. Some players are just really boastful and arrogant. Just let them be.

Kiko: Most Unforgettable Moment in Playing Online Games?

I met someone really special online.. <3 and i fell in love.. haha.. I did not expect that..
When someone announced I was a scammer (and I swear I'm not!) and someone attacked me! He sent mean and nasty messages to me, because of the announcement. He really trash talked me.. Grr.. He even challenged me to a PVP match. When I saw his character, he was lvl 4, I think I was lvl 54 at the time..

YunaHearty was actually not her real name but she preferred to be called by it. She is a self confess Netizen; meaning, she can’t live without internet (and an iPhone) in her hands. Celebrating her birthday this coming May 1, this loving gal from Dadiangas, General Santos City loves to play different games. Some of it are Dragonica, DOTA, Starcraft2, Need for Speed series, Pokemon (Gold, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald), Sims 1 & 2, Cabal, Flyff, Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 & also the Uprising, Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun, Warcraft 3, Battle Realms, and Plants vs. Zombies. Yuna: I started playing online games last 2007 at that time, I was only fifteen.

Yuna: No one taught me how to play Flyff. I just did my research thingy about it, you know by the power of the Google. It helped me a lot to level up my Ringmaster to 61.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Yuna: Ung cleric ko sa Dragonica level 67 out of 75 hehe kaso lang chat build lang un haha.. Compared to it to my Ringmaster sa Flyff w/c is level 61 also, mas malakas at maganda pa ang mga items ng Cleric ko. =)

Kiko: How Did You Become So Strong Like That?

Yuna: Ahm just do some research bout the game and your character or job, and wag palagi mag-change ng characters so that you can focus on your one character at mapapalakas mo pa yun ng bonggang bongga. =)

Kiko: Have You Ever Joined In A Gaming Competition?

Yuna: Singing contest lng yata ung nasalihan kong competition na kung saan ako ang nanalo haha, it was way back when i was only 10 years old. LOL

Yuna: Time Management = play hard, study harder. hahaha XD

Last time, we get to know “TULISan” guy of Wasak Guild, Josh Regondola (a.k.a. Batotoy). Now, let us get to know another “TULISan” guy; but this time; he came from my very own guild: Hellios Infinitium. As an introduction to our next Featured Pinoy Online Gamer, let me tell some things about him.

I’ve been with the group for a couple of weeks (or months, I think); and he is one of the guys whom warmly welcome me in the group. The first time I’ve interacted with him thru our guild’s facebook group, to be honest, “nayabangan ako sa kanya.” It’s true. Tipong di ko yata makakasundo. Tipong mamba badtrip sa akin palagi. But, I’m wrong. As days passed by, I get to know him more. Some Info About You: Well I was a former varsity player in high school(basketball) and I played in Ireland as well in the Filipino tournaments.. Certified game addict. I’m not a nerd. Some guys are good at sports, some are good at games. I just didn’t set a limit to things that I wanted to do. All I can say is, I can be the best guy or friend you can ever have as long as you stay true to me. I’ll always have on your back no matter what. Proven and tested na po yan =)

I’m not really like most of the guys, I know this is commonly said by people but if only u take time to know me, then you’ll see what kind of human being I am. When it comes to family and people that I love, I’d sacrifice everything for them. Believe it or not, when I was working here in Ireland (di ko ma remember yung sweldo ko sa 1^st job) I was earning around €350 per week on my 2^nd job.. I always give the €300 to my mom w/out hesitation or her asking for anything, cause I know what our situation is. I even help 1 of my cousin in the Philippines on her tuition and now her mom as in Ireland because we were able to help her and it felt really good to see the result of your hard work and help especially now that they are having a good life.

Mataas po pasensya ko, pero yung ugali ko namana talaga sa mom ko. If love ko yung tao, ibibigay ko ang makakaya ko. Pag oras naman na gaguhin nyo ako, don’t expect me to pretend that nothing happened because surely you’ll realize the way that I will threat you. Dun ko siguro nakuha yung ugali ko na kahit wala ako mabili sa sarili ko, as long as may tao akong natutulungan, happy na ako dun. I even manage to save some of the remaining sa sweldo ko para maka bili ng X-Box sa sarili ko at para sa family ko naman, nood kami ng sine, kakain sa labas or order ng pizza. Simple but quality family time. =)

Kiko: How do make your characters so strong like that?

Kent: Sa DGN (1500) at KOS (500) lng talaga ako nka spend ng money to be honest..well we all know that in DGN u need to buy recipe via cash item and I have trust issues on people that I don’t know so I bought my own recipe^^ . Keep this in mind; I’m really not the type of gamer who likes RMT, maybe buy some cash items but not buying things from other players using real money.

My RO char’s are the best examples, I just look for parties and play every day whenever I can. My assassin-cross is only level 85, but I can break almost any guild solo and I give big guilds a hard time.. I have saved my RO guild many times and given them many castles from last minute breaks on the Emperium despite being outnumbered^^

My characters are not really that strong, I’m not even one of the top players in my class sa DGN. I just enjoy playing and I think that’s more important that trying to become one of the elite. I’d rather have fun than become one of the best at di nag eenjoy. =)

Kiko: How do you manage and balance your in-game and real-world life?

Kent: If ever I’m not doing something then that’s the time I play up to sawa but at the same time if ever may utos or need ko na gawin , I really set my priorities first . I can still play after I’ve done things that are needed to be done. As I grow older I was able to realize. “Family comes first no matter what”- Adam Sandler from the movie “Click”.

Kiko: Have you come to the point that your gaming life affected your real life? Especially with your family and friends?

Kent: Yeah it did. I started cutting classes or missing classes cause I was playing.. hehe .. When I started playing ragnarok again here in Ireland, I always try not to miss War of the Emperium! Oh yeah! I have always been and will be a guild wars addict. hehe. It was really hard cause almost the whole day I would spend almost all of my time in my room in front of the computer, kahit di ako nagpapa level kausap ko yung mga friends ko na mga international sa RO.. It almost like yung world ko sa RO was becoming more real than the real world. I don’t think u can blame me, most of the time real world gives you real problem. haha.

But, I later realize that I was becoming less social in the real world. I have change and I had a hard time approaching people I just met. That’s the time I realize that I needed to cut off my game time. I was depressed kasi that time. I lost my job kasi recession, ang hirap mka hanap ng work. For one year wala akong work, kaya umuwi ako ng Pilipinas at nagpalipas ng oras dun. And here I am, back in Ireland doing my best to find a new job. I don’t care what kind of job, as long as I can save up for the future this time. =)

Kiko: There are lots on Pinay Online Gamers nowadays. Do you (by any chance) seek some proof to prove that the one who you're playing is a real girl? If so, WHY?

Kent: Is that a big deal? – Well I do. like I stated earlier; I have trust issues with online gamers =) I don’t mind playing with a girl character and the owner is a guy as long as I knew it. It’s not that big of a deal to others but for me, knowing people in game and in real life is important for me.

It would be kinda weird kasi in a game like dragonica or ragnarok na may marriage system. What if u were married to a cross-dresser? Don’t you think it would be weird? I know papasok agad sa isip nyo na nakikipag flirt lang yung tao, HALLER! Wag lang po taung maging assumera/assumero para walang issue. Haha. Besides decision nyo na din naman yan kung gusto nyo magpakilala sa tao o hindi. =)

Kiko: Bakit ang TULIS nyo kapag nalaman nyo na "real "girl ung player?

Kent: Well we’re boys aren’t we? It’s in our nature naman siguro yan na medyo flirt. Pero at least di ko binabastos yung tao, I know my limitations. =)

Kiko: What do you exactly feel when you are 'constantly' pawned or owned by a girl in-game?

Kent: I don’t really mind. As long as she doesn’t have a foul mouth. The only time I ever trash talk is if that person said and used dirty or bad words against me. I mean di naman sa lahat ng panahon maiiwasan mo talaga,lalo na pag bad trip ka o mainit lang talaga ang ulo. I do tend to avoid these things whenever I can and besides; DGN is not a game of sexes isn’t it? May mga girls lang talaga that are hardcore gamers talaga. =)

Kiko: Have you fall in love in-game?

Kent: Oh well di naman talaga ma iwasan na ma develop yung mga gamers especially if that particular person makakalaro mo halos everyday tapos nag uusap pa kayo. The feeling is mutual I guess^^

But seriously, NOPE. Maybe if na chat ko sya with cam so at least alam ko na tunay sya na girl because it’s easy to make and fake a Facebook account or other social networks account xP

Kiko: If you need to choose only one between two things: girlfriend or game; which one you'll choose?

Kent: Girlfriend.. it’s a no brainer =)

Kiko: Do you prefer your girlfriends to be gamers as well, or not? WHY?

Kent: Does it matter? I don’t think it does really. I met my EX-GF outside any game and we were together for 5 long years and now here I am, single ulit haha. Don’t worry; games had nothing to do with our break-up. Not even a game in life =)

Kiko: Any tips for your fellow gamers in your current games?

Kent: Wag po masyadong ambisyo on becoming the best in that particular game , it will become a deadly obsession and baka mawala yung joy and fun mo cause sometimes if a better player is going to beat you , it sometimes eat you up inside. Masisira yung pride mo at mawawalan ka ng gana^^ .

Respect nyo nlng po kapwa gamer nyo, based on experience yung mga nakakalaro ko in game, nagtutulongan din kami in real life kahit as simple thing as talking to them on FB when you really need somebody to talk to. My guild leader in RO (german pa nga to eh :P) and DGN (also the VGM) are now 1 of my top friends in real life and they earned my respect.

Kiko: Anything else you want to say?

Josh: Actually, Di ko kino-consider na strong ang mga characters ko. I just consider them important lalo na kung talagang nag grind ako para mag level-up ung character.

I really hate grinding, mas gusto ko pa tumambay at magchat kesa magpa level-up. Kadalasan mas mabilis pa ako yumaman kesa tumaas ang level dahil madalas tambay ako sa market (reminiscing the old ragnarok days).

Kiko: How do you manage and balance your in-game and real-world life?

Josh: In reality balancing your gaming life and real life is a big pain in the ass. Di ako naniniwala sa mga taong nagsasabing disiplina lang ang sagot sa tanung na ito. It took me so long before I was able to not actually balance but actually set my in game and real life priorities in place.

Wala naman talagang balanseng gaming and real life dahil una sa lahat wala namang balanseng buhay. Ang pagsasabi na balanse ang buhay mo sa lahat ng aspeto ay isang malaking kalokohan.

Kiko: Have you come to the point that your gaming life affected your real life? Especially with your family and friends?

Josh: Maraming beses na tong nangyari. Lol. Naalala ko ng binreakan ako ng gf ko dahil sa impulsive kong reply sa kanya habang naglalaro ng Mafia Wars sa facebook, “mamaya ka na magchat, wala ka namang kwentang kausap e”.

Kaya sa mga kababaihan, sana isipin niyo lagi na not all things said are meant.

Kiko: There are lots on Pinay Online Gamers nowadays. Do you (by any chance) seek some proof to prove that the one who you're playing is a real girl? If so, WHY? Is that a big deal?

Josh: Lots? Masyado naman atang exaggerated kung sasabihin nating “lots” na ang babae sa gaming. Seriously siguro several lng. Kalalakihan pa rin ang nagdodominate sa gaming world sa aking opinion.

Usually talagang inaalam ko kung talagang babae in real life ang isang gamer lalo na kung ito ay member ng guild na aking kinabibilangan. Ito ay para sa kapakanan ng bawat miyembro ng guild dahil kung nakapagsisinungaling ka sa gender mo, tiyak sa mas marami pang bagay sinungaling ka.

Kiko: Special Question from Girls: Bakit ang TULIS nyo kapag nalaman nyo na "real "girl ung player?

Josh: Ang panunulis ay isang natural na reaction na sa kalalakihan. Marami lang sigurong matulis sa game dahil hindi nila ito magawa in real life (e.g. GM Rino, Spakiki, Entity :*).

Josh: Wala lang mas nage enjoy ako at naa amaze sa mga kababaihang malakas in game dahil mas madalas konti bola lang matutulis mo na sila. Hahaha. Pero magingat baka ma-Katposh kayo.

Josh: Never, mahahati lang ang assets mo in game. Lol. Imbes na sarili mo lang iniisip mo me manghihingi pa sayo. Para sa akin ang pagiging in-love ay kailangan ng panahon na pagiging magkasama.

Mahal mo ang isang tao kung kaya mong tiisin ang anghit niya sa katawan o anumang kapintasan niya. Isang kalokohan na sabihin sa nililigawan mo ( in game or irl) na mahal mo siya ngunit di mo naman gaanong kilala.

Masarap manulis pero ang panunulis ay panunulis lamang at kailanman hindi pwede maging pagmamahal.

Josh: Napakahirap na tanong ito Kiko, pero sa aking pananaw pwede naman silang pagsabayin. Maglaro kayo ng gf mo hahaha. Lol. Seriously, one of the things I learned in my gaming life is that the relationships created through gaming are more important than the game itself. Hindi mo dapat ipagpalit ang mga kaibigan mo in game para lang sa kakarampot na gold.

Kaya utang na loob wag na wag ninyon hahackin ang katropa niyo. Same way goes sa gf mo, wag mo ipagpalit ang gf mo sa simpleng laro lang, lalo na kung binibigyan ka niya ng pambili ng EP.

Kiko: Do you prefer your girlfriends to be gamers as well, or not? WHY?

Josh: Siguro Nope. Pano na lang kung gamer yung gf mo, eh hindi ka na makakapanulis niyan. Hehe

Josh: Just enjoy guys. Wag masyado seryoso. Ok lang murahin ang kaparty as long as you don’t actually mean it. Alam natin maraming bobong naglalaro ng dragonica pagpasensyahan niyo na lang sila. Malay niyo isa kayo sa kanila. Hahaha

Seriously, just learn to put your priorities in place. Pag busy kayo sa school wag muna kayo maglogin, pag balik niyo makukuha niyo na ang pinaka aasam ninyong “Long time no see” medal at the same time you are able to pay attention to your studies.

Darren: I spend long time playing it. Research. Eto yung pinaka importanteng bagay sa paglalaro ng online games. Dito ka lalakas dahil may advantage kang INFORMATION na wala ang iba.

Farming MONEY/GOLD. Then there goes the good char. Lahat naman kayang gawin to, sipag lang.

Kiko: How do you manage and balance your in-game and real-world life?

Darren: Sabi sakin nung sa elementary ko, "TIME MANAGEMENT". Dapat may nakalaan na oras para sa isang bagay na importanteng gawin. Pag natapos mo na iyon, pwede mo ng gawin ang mga bagay na gusto mo.

Dapat lagi kang may oras sa pag-aaral, oras sa iba, at oras sa paglalaro. Hindi yung puro laro lang dahil sabi nga nila "Get a life."

Kiko: Have you come to the point that your gaming life affected your real life? Specially with your family and friends?

Darren: As much as possible, iniiwasan ko maapektuhan yan. Online gaming is just a past-time to do. Hindi dapat ito sineseryoso.

Kiko: There are lots on Pinay Online Gamers nowadays. Do you (by any chance) seek some proof to prove that the one who you're playing is a real girl? If so, WHY? Is that a big deal?

Darren: Well, there's always facebook and multimessenger which they show off their faces.

But who cares. I don't really mind kung babae sila or not. As long as they are having fun with me. And no, it's not much of a big deal.(Well for me is it.)

Kiko: (Special Question from Girls!) Bakit ang TULIS nyo kapag nalaman nyo na "real "girl ung player?

Darren: Syempre, natural lang yon. We are healthy guys afterall. Normal lang siguro na magwala yung iba dahil diba nga "There's no woman on the internet." :P

Nakilala ko tong si Adrienne. She's somewhere from singapore, so parehas kami ng gaming time. We chat alot. We get to know each other.

At dahil sa kadalasan naming pag MSN at pag cam to cam, mas lalong lulalim ang aming pagsasama. Pero dumating yung araw na hindi inaasahan....

Pero dahil nga siguro immature pa ako, I had this instinct na "Hindi tama tong ginagawa ko. These are things that should not be to be taken seriously" Kaya yon, we broke.

Darren: Too much talk and bond. Dahil nga isa akong healthy normal person, I'm attracted to opposite sex. Dahil gusto mong makaexperience ng something new. Something different from the others! Kaya siguro na-inlove ako.

Kiko: If you need to choose only one between two things: girlfriend or game; which one you'll choose NOW?

Darren: For now, I'd choose the game. Dahil I'm pretty lonely here. No one's with me. =)

Darren: Pero in a convenient way, I'd choose the girlfriend. If I only had one, paglalaruin ko sya ng game. At maadik kami habang buhay. Yey \o/

Ashley: My HS boy classmates. haha. I tried it when I was bored. I first played Ragnarok and this game was the trend that time. There was still a fee for playing a game and that was really a very painful thing in my pocket. As matter of fact may collections pa ko ng cards ko hehehe. But that was before, nung masyado pa kong adik.. hehe..I'll attach it here.

Emma Joy: I think it was the start of Ran. And I was about 16, 17 or 18 that time. I stopped playing when they released the War of Emperium. Madami kasing bot user, nakakawalang gana maglaro.

Kiko: Where Did You Start To Play Online Games?

Emma Joy: Ragnarok PH of course. I think it was Chaos, Fenrir and Odin servers. Tagal na no?

Kiko: How did You Learn To Play Your First Online Game?

Emma Joy: My brother. Napagtripan lang namin dun sa i-cafe.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Emma Joy: Cabal Ph Venus.. about 152 and 156. I like long-ranged and support-type characters.. 152 Force Archer and 156 Wizard. Weak pa nga kasi 180 na yung max level sa cabal eh.

Kiko: How Did You Became So Strong Like That?

Emma Joy: Boost/palevel. Kaadikan lang. Never resort to any kind of cheat kung gusto mo lumakas agad. Kasi you won't enjoy the game. Aanhin mo ang pagiging high-level kung ginamitan mo naman ng cheat diba..

Emma Joy: Nope. Kasi isa ako sa mga volunteers (alalay ng GM haha) kapag may event.

Emma Joy: There are different types of people playing the game, so kailangan you'll be the one to adjust for them. Hindi sila yung mag-aadjust para sayo. Also, the respect for other people. Just because they're a member of the third sex does not give you any right na bastusin sila.

Emma Joy: Nung nakaabot sa top ten nung Mission War yung character ko nung madaling araw. Haha. Malaking achievement na yun para sa non-tpp user na tulad ko. Sa dami ba naman ng cheater hirap magpa score talaga ang mga legit users na tulad ko..

Emma Joy: Study Hard, manage your time. Resorting to cheat isn't an excuse that you have social lives and that you're busy, etc. That's just lame.

If you are a regular visitor of Dragonica PH Forum, you might encountered "The Entity" (recently changed his forum name into Eavesdrop), one of the well-known forum bully there. I don't know him so much in forum, so I've asked two of his close friends (I think!) in Dragonica PH Forum and asked them on who is "The Entity" is for them:

Reniel: I'm not strong. Average player siguro pwede pa.

I had never reached the "Level Cap" sa mga official servers.

Tanging sa mga Private Servers lang.

I'm 60% Chatbuild, 40% Grind mode.

Hindi casual. Tipong nakapag-level-up ka ng 2-3 times sa isang araw ok na.

Then tambay mode: Kausap guildies, PK, PVP, help the lowbies.

Syempre lalandi and flaunt your character na rin.

Sa cash items naman, malaki ako gumastos.

Iniipon ko kasi yung mga cards noon.

Ang pinakamalaki kong na load was 2,400php.

I spend para sa mga fashion items at syempre game boosting items.

I think that's inevitable, mapapagastos ka talaga.

Kiko: How do you manage and balance your in-game and real-world life?

Reniel:

Weekdays:

Dahil sa tambay ako ngayon, I spend most of my time sa harap ng computer.(I play on internet shops btw, loser ang internet sa bahay)

3-5 Hours Ingame/Internetz. 2 Hours continuation sa bahay(facebook, forums, surf, no porn-nasa sala ang PC badtrip HAHA)

I skip lunch but I do heavy breakfast.

8 hours sleep, pahirapan pa since I'm a bit insomniac.

Weekends:

Naglilinis ako ng buong bahay sa Linggo. General cleaning.

Sa Sabado naglalaba, nasira yung washing machine kaya ayon kanya kanyang laba. :))

Pag wala nag-ayang lumabas edi tambay sa bahay. Nood TV or read books.

I don't mingle with my family and relatives. Long story.

Kiko: Have you come to the point that your gaming life affected your real life?

Specially with your family and friends?

Reniel: YES.

During my high-school days. Ang masaklap graduating ako non.

I was so addicted to this game, Ran Online.

Sa halip na sa skwelahan ako pumapasok, eh sa internet shops ako tumutuloy.

Hindi pa uso ang ban nun sa mga high school students.

Dahil din dito natuto akong kumupit ng malalaking halagang pera para lang magka EP. (500 the biggest amount)

What do expect? Syempre 2 RED Grades sa 1st Grading.

Ang saklap at nakaka-heart feelings dahil first time kong makaranas ng line of 7.

Eventually nalaman ng parents.

Scolded, Grounded, Pinalo, Etc.

Lesson learned. Andami ko tuloy na miss na mga school events. Good old times.

Nag-up ng 30% ang maturity ko, then realizations came flowing.

Dagdag pa na nabiktima ng "Hack-Delete" ang character ko nun.

Then I decided to quit the game and focus on my studies.

Ayun naka-recover naman wala nang line of 7 :).

Addiction is inevitable lalo na pag-first timer.

Kung gusto mong magpa-high, nasa sa iyo na yun.

Ang advice ko lang, think first sa mga actions na gagawin mo.

Do you (by any chance) seek some proof to prove that the one who you're playing is a real girl?

If so, WHY? Is that a big deal?

Reniel: Before, YES.

To think that girls play MMORPGs eh kadalasan they're more on cute things and stuff, syempre ang cool nun.

So di rin maiiwasan na mabiktima ka ng mga poser. Another lesson learned.

Now, wala na akong pakialam. I learned that when I started playing Pservers kung san ang makakasalamuha mo eh iba't ibang tao sa mundo.

Kasi sa kanila, lahat ng online gamers eh lalaki.

Bonus na pag babae talaga ang makakasalamuha mo.

I find it even cooler if you remained anonymous.

Reniel: Wag tayong magtanim ng hard feelings sa ating kapwa. Kalokohan yan.

Ok rin minsan ang magkaroon ng katapat/kaaway sa isang aspect ng game.

Sign yan na hindi lang ikaw ang malakas, take it as a challenge.

Minimize ang gastos sa pera. Mas mabuti pang ikain mo yan or isave.

Wag na wag kang magpadala sa game, or say hello sa RED Grades.

Yes, arguing/debating in the internetz is fun, but don't take it seriously.

Everybody starts at Level 1.

Kung gusto mong lumakas, invest both ingame and in real life.

Be open-minded and respect the people around you.

Hi, guys! I'm sure you're waiting for another Featured Pinay Online Gamer of the Week! Here what we have for this week! Let us get to know this cute Pinay online gamer, Michelle Rivera ak.a. Misheru:

Michelle Rivera was born on October 23, 1993 in Manila, Philippines (need to emphasize this since she look like Japanese!). This 17 (turning 18!) years old gal played some Anime based Psp games. Michelle also played some popular online games like O2jam, Flyff, Pirate King Online, Dragonica and some other random games which she play for a few hours just for fun.

She also devoted her life to Anime, Manga, and cosplaying (like what we have seen in her picture above). Michelle also admitted that she is a total Otaku who also loves J-rock. Wow! This gal is really cool, isn't she? Weel, let's ask more about her story in playing online games:

Michelle R: When I was in second year high school. I think I was 13 years old back then

Kiko: How did You Learn To Play Your First Online Game?

Michelle R: Actually, I'm a girl who isn't really close to girls. Most of my friends are guys and they obviously love gaming. My friend thought me to play a game once he started to teach me step by step my first online game was Pirate King Online. (well because he was playing that when he thought me)

From basic terms to controls and "paano dumiskarte" XD Even kalokohan tactics as we call them XD Then I discovered that I do have a passion for this. Everyday I would wake up and say "Oh xetness 8 na! lag na mamaya! Di ako makakakuha ng partyyy!!!" sabay takbo sa baba, bukas PC palevel while kumakain ng breakfast XD

And that pretty much became my daily routine. Then I met other people online and my world expanded. I joined guilds which made me more informed about whats happening and what to do and they were also the highlights of my gaming life :)

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Michelle R: Literally~ my 120 Jester in Flyff. But the level was just one of the prizes I won. I joined the "Project Runway" of Flyff PH where we were suppose to create our own fashions and thank God I won. XD

But my original character was a 102 Elementor in Flyff :)

Michelle R: Well... join and win contest LOL! Jk~

For me it was with the help of my friends/guildmates. I think I wouldn't have made it that far without them.

Sipag at tiyga! sabayan ng starbucks mocha frap~! XDD Haha but seriously I was the type of player na mas expert sa chatting at panggugulo ng ibang tao. XD

Michelle R: guess not? I just join events :) I'm not really good in PvP. XD

Michelle R: The application of Shounen manga and anime XD Haha! I think what I really learned is that Friends, teamwork and sometimes even lovers isn't limited to the people who are just around you all the time in real life.

Sometimes you can even find true friends online. Minsan mas plastic pa yung IRL kasama kaysa sa OL lang. I've experienced such things and it only made me love gaming more. ^^

Michelle R: MADAMI XD one nakasali ako sa Epic guild and naging GL ako ng extension nila. EPIC arena moments na hindi ko mawari XD tipong nag iispam na lang yata kami sa gitna at madami pang kalokohan. XD At yes nagka BF ako once na na-meet ko in game. XD

Michelle R: "Mag aral muna tayo mga bata" And that is what I WOULD say if I was actually a pretty sane person. XD

Always have fun IG and don't forget the people you met, malay mo makita mo IRL at kapag magkagalit kayo sabay sapak na joke! XD

But seriously make friends in every game, enjoy your time with everyone and you'll realize that what people say about gaming being a waste of time and money isn't really true :)

Mhak Pangilinan is known as "Quatoreya" in Dragonica PH Forum and to his former Dragonica PH guild, Quaelum Circle. Even though he is not one of the top tiers of the games he played, he is really respected by his fellow gamers. Well, let's get to know more Mhak Pangilinan; our first Featured Pinoy Online Gamer:

Some Info About Mhak: Hmm... let's see. IRL I'm just your average dood. I am quiet around people I'm not close with and I usually speak only when spoken to. But if I've known you for quite some time and we really click, flip akong kasama. Patawa.

I'm also a basement dweller. I stay at home most of the time as everything I need - from gadgets to food - are right under my roof. I don't mean to offend, but I find people boring. I am more in tune with technology and nature. While I enjoy being around the company of friends, after a few hours of mingling, I just got to get out of there, lol.

I like to read books, play games, and tinker with various computer applications. I guess you can say that I'm a nerd, but not of the typical kind. Because, you see, you can rely on me when things get ugly and I'll be beside you at the first sign of blood. *wink* Oh yeah, and I appreciate natural beauty - women who wear no makeup.

List of Online Games Mhak Played and Currently Playing: I forgot most of them but here are the games which I remember playing. I won't include the levels because I can't remember, and they're really not worth mentioning anyway.

- Ragnarok, Rising Force, S4 League, Audition, Nostale Global, Gunbound, O2Jam, Dragonica, etc. My current game of choice is Heroes of Newerth.

Kiko: How do make your characters so strong like that?

Mhak: Well first of all, my character isn't strong, especially when compared to the real top tiers. I prefer competing in tournaments kasi and just play at my own, snail-like pace. For my level bracket, I guess it's above mediocre, and the reason for that is I just top up... a lot, lol.

You also have to know what kind of equipment your char needs, what the right build should be depending on your playstyle, and how to properly chain the skills you have in your arsenal. A character is only as strong as the person controlling it.

Kiko: How do you manage and balance your in-game and real-world life?

Mhak: Before, I used to play online games most of the time. Inherent na kasi sa akin yung pagiging hardcore. Nowadays, since I have school and all, I'm starting to dedicate my weekdays on studying.

For weekends, it's where I give time for myself. Either I spend the day playing a console game like Uncharted 2, or play a competitive online game like HoN... or maybe just go out with friends and watch a movie and simply chill at High Street.

Kiko: Have you come to the point that your gaming life affected your real life?

Specially with your family and friends?

Mhak: Yes. Back during my teenage years, online games were my world to the point where I was being scolded by my grandparents for having nothing better to do. Sometimes, even friends argue over petty things that happen in-game.

So my advice to other players is that they should just take the game for what it is - something meant to be enjoyed. Online games eventually succumb to the ravages of time, but friends and family? Those are eternal. It's okay to take a game seriously if you're competitive, but don't let it control and ruin your life. Hindi mo mailalagay sa resume mo yan.

Kiko: There are lots on Pinay Online Gamers nowadays. Do you (by any chance) seek some proof to prove that the one who you're playing is a real girl?

If so, WHY? Is that a big deal?

Mhak: No, for the simple reason that I don't really care if they're female or not. I play online games for the competition and community. Only time I would even consider checking whether a player is a girl or not is if they're using that to take advantage of others, especially if they're targetting someone I know. I hate people who use others for their own personal gain.

Kiko: This is a special question from girls: Bakit daw ang TULIS natin kapag nalaman natin na "real "girl ung player?

What is your point of view here?

Mhak: Because men are barbarians by nature. Nuff said.

Kiko: What do you exactly feel when you are 'constantly' pawned or owned by a girl in-game?

Mhak: Impressed, actually. She can teach me those moves anytime, hehehe.

Kiko: Have you fall in love in-game?

Mhak: Yes. 2 years ago when I was still playing Nostale Global. Magkaguild kami and I was the leader. She joined with her friend. At first, I didn't really pay much attention to her. Pa quit na rin nga ako non actually. Pero all that changed when they held a 2x EXP event for Valentine's Day.

I asked her if she wanted to form a party with me because she was a healer. That's how we became close. I don't even know how it happened. I just felt so elated being around her all of a sudden. Eventually, we did all the in-game stuff together and we became even closer.

Nung kaming dalawa lang magkaparty sa isang dungeon run, I PMed her while we were still inside. Naguusap na kami bago pa yon, at medyo mushy mushy na rin yung pakikitungo namin sa isat isa, pero nung na PM ko sya, ang binaggit ko lang ay...

"Pwede ka bang mahalin?"
Ang reply nya ay...
"Oo."

The rest, as they say, is history.

Kiko: Wow! Nice love story! Chessy, ha? LOL!

So, Since you answer YES on my recent question, you TOTALLY fall-in-love in game with her even you didn't see her yet in real life, right?

What make you fall in love with her?

Mhak: Yes, definitely. First time lang nangyari sa akin yon. Yung absolute devotion para sa isang tao na hindi ko pa nakikita. Sobrang bait kasi nya sa akin. I liked everything about her.

She was very, very moody and would get mad at every little thing nung naging kami na, but that's what made her who she was. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, kahit ano pa maging itsura nya, I don't care. She's the one. We met 3 months after we became serious.

Nung una ko syang nakita, it was like a scene from a movie. Nasa garden sya sa top floor ng Trinoma, and I was inside hiding behind a pillar. When I saw her for the first time, everything was in slow motion. Sya lang yung nakikita ko. She was sitting there looking so beautiful. The lighting made her look divine in my eyes. Napilitan lang ako lumabas nung nagagalit na sya sa akin through cellphone dahil hindi ako lumalabas sa likod nung pillar. I couldn't tell her I was petrified, haha.

Unfortunately, as the days went by, I took her for granted and it all went downhill from there. 7 months naging kami. My only regret was that I met her so early in life, during the time wherein I was still immature. First GF ko kasi sya and I didn't know how to express myself properly.

I sincerely hope that wherever she is right now, sana okay lang sya. And I hope na kung may bago man sya ngayon, sana he turns out be the guy that I failed to be. O ha. Pero yeah, seriously.

Kiko: If you need to choose only one between two things: girlfriend or game; which one you'll choose NOW?

Mhak: Girlfriend syempre. When it comes to the person you love, everything else is insignificant. Hindi na kailangang ielaborate yan.

Kiko: Do you prefer your girlfriends to be gamers as well, or not? WHY?

Mhak: Yes. It's much better if you two have more in common with each other. That way, you'd have more to talk about and do together as a couple. Para at least kahit sa virtual reality, kasama mo pa rin sya.

Kiko: Any tips for your fellow gamers in your current games?

Mhak: Play at your own pace and don't forget to keep other important stuff in check, like school and whatnot. Moreover, kung competitive ka, practice practice practice.

Read guides, create the most imba combo for your chosen class, and find out how other classes work as well so that you would know how to counter them.

Wag din lalaki ang ulo. Cherish the friends you gain and never forget the people who helped you get to where you are now.

Mary Grace Nieva was born and raised in Bacoor, Cavite. At her current age of 19 (turning 20 on July 29), she admits that she was semi-addicted in playing online games. She used to play other popular online games before like Ragnarok Online, Rose Online, Tantra, FreeStyle and Rohan. Now, she was actively playing Dragonica PH and Shaiya Online. Whew! Mary Grace: Nag start ako ng online nung 2004; 13yrs. old ako noon.

Kiko: Where Did You Start To Play Online Games?

Mary Grace: Ragnarok Online Philippines; eto yung first online game na nilaro ko.

Kiko: How did You Learn To Play Your First Online Game?

Mary Grace: Actually I start playing PC LAN games when I was 11yrs. old and bumalik lang ulit nung year 2004. Nag start ako maglaro ng online games because of my friend and uncle; na-convince nila ako maglaro ng Ragnarok.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Mary Grace: Siguro my strongest character sa lahat ng nalaro ko is my Wizard lvl. 92 out of 99 sa Rohan Online PH. Second is my Trapper lvl 52 in Dragonica PH out of 70; feel ko lang na malakas ang trapper ko (haha!) kasi its my 2nd time na gumawa ng archer character kaya strong siya para sakin.

Mary Grace: Puyat everyday haha!, Money, Patience and Love your characters.

Kiko: Have You Ever Joined In A Gaming Competition?

Mary Grace: Not an online gaming competition but a Volleyball Competition haha! I literally love games mapaindoor man yan or outdoor game ako dyan!

Kiko: What Have You Learn From Playing Online Games?

Mary Grace:First thing na natutunan ko in game that I can prove to everyone that I don't need anybody to become STRONG. Second, Its better na mahina keysa sa malakas na nandadaya. And third, don't trust 100%.

Mary Grace: Nang makita ko ang isa sa mga characters ko na hawak ng iba player at gnagamit sa kalokohan T_T.

League of PVP Champions Invitation

Inspired by my fellow blog readers, I was convinced to make another series of gamers' blog post: League of PVP Champions. This will featured groups of gamers who won major gaming competitions. The group must consist of Pinoy gamers (male or female) and must won at least twice as "champion" in any major gaming competition; OR won at least once as "champion" and once as "Runner Up"; OR won at least once as "Runner Up" and participate at least twice in "Semi Final Round". I'm calling the attention of all groups of gamers from different games (Ragnarok, RAN Online, RF Online, Cabal Online, Rohan Online, Dragonica PH, etc) to be part of League of PVP Champion. Bessie Remorin is a 22 years old gal (soon turning 23 on October 6) and self-confessed hardcore gamer. Using shizucute, kabawness, superb0ink, superkabaw, XDkabawness, babyshizu, AdventCHILD, and LadyADVENT as her in-game names, she used to play lots of online games. Some of these are Gunbound, O2 jam, RF, Audition, Perfect World, Lineage 2, Aion Infinite (private server), Cabal, Exteel SEA, Grand Chase, and Crazy Kart. Bessie: One of my closest friends in college introduced me a game called Gunbound. At first I thought it was like counter strike because of the word "gun" but when I actually saw the game, the whole setup is different from what I expected. I eventually became addicted to that game.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Bessie: Admiral level 125 in Exteel SEA. I was the first exteel girl gamer in SEA to reach that level. :P

Kiko: How Did You Became So Strong Like That?

Bessie: Well, Google is my best friend lol. Also, I have a lot of friends in-game that eventually became my teachers. In addition to that, I usually play 8-24 hours a day. In short adik talaga haha.

Kiko: Have You Ever Joined In A Gaming Competition?

Bessie: We joined Dragonica i-Cafe Tournament last November 27, 2010 at Outer Haven Cafe Baguio City. It was our first time to join such competition. We ended up as 2nd place.

Kiko: What Have You Learn From Playing Online Games?

Bessie: Just two things: Respect and make friends. For you to become an achiever, you must respect everybody else around you. Maraming gamer ang mabilis umangat kesa sa iba pero dahil hindi sila marunong magpakumbaba, madali rin silang bumabagsak. Alam mo yun, dating sikat pero nalaos dahil bastos. :3 Make a lot of friends and treasure them. Tandaan mo na sa isang online game, may mga tao kang makakasalamuha araw-araw na magiging kaibigan mo pag tumagal.. at sa oras na nangangailangan ka, sila lang ang makakatulong sa'yo.

Bessie: I met my first boyfriend in gunbound. He's still my boyfriend until now and I am very proud to say that we are going to celebrate our 6th year anniversary on October. :3

Bessie: Be honest all the time. Stay away from bot users and the like because it will destroy your reputation as a gamer. Play with passion and you'll end up enjoying every single thing in a game.

Michelle Uribe is an 18 years old (turning 19 y/o on April 23) certified "Audista" (Audition Dance Battle Player) and a former siggy maker in Audition PH. Michelle: Nagsimula ako 2 years ago at age 16. (October 2008)

Michelle: Audition PH. Eto talaga ang Online game na binabalik-balikan ko.

Kiko: How did You Learn To Play Your First Online Game?

Michelle: Well actually, I hate online games before. I don't know pero nung nakita ko yung screenshot ng friend ko sa Audition PH, nagustuhan ko. Ang cute kasi so sinubukan ko siya and poof! Na-adik na ako until now.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Michelle: Sa AuditionPH, si Gemiche na Level 37 (Pro) and Sa Dragonica PH, si Feenah, Level 44 na Paladin but hindi ko feel na malakas sila. Hehehe..

Kiko: How Did You Became So Strong Like That?

Michelle: Sa Audition, praktis lang nang praktis hanggang sa matuto ka and sa Dragonica naman, dapat madiskarte ka sa pag-build ng character mo and focus lang sa isang account.

Michelle: Hmmmm.. Nope. Hindi pa ako sumasali sa mga ganyan since hindi naman ako kalakasan.

For our Featured Pinay Gamer Online of the Week, I'm going to introduce to you "Gemeleigh" (known as Gemeleigh too in real life).

Gemeleigh (who are also using Leigh, Gracii and Elle as her alternative names) is a 22 years old casual Pinay gamer who love to play online games; mostly published by E-Games. Some of these are O2Jam, RAN Online, Cabal Online, Audition, and Dragonica PH. She used to play also some other games like Crazy Kart and Legend of Martial Arts. Currently active playing Dragonica PH with her real life sweetheart (with in-game name; iLucifer), they are helping each other to be the best player in their current game. Naks! Getting interested? Kiko: When Did You Start Playing Online Games?

Gemeleigh: Way back 2006; I was 18 years old.

Kiko: Where Did You Start To Play Online Games?

Gemeleigh: The first online game I played is O2jam, published by e-Games. The first MMO I played is RAN Online. I was a Dex Archer in Kalayaan Server.

Kiko: How did You Learn To Play Your First Online Game?

Gemeleigh: I was just watching my younger brother play and sometimes he would ask me to pilot his character, like he would teach me what keys to press to use potions, cast skills and how to select mobs. After sometime, I also got interested with the game, so I made my own character.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Gemeleigh: I would say it's my level 56 Oracle in Dragonica PH. I have a PVP build. At first, I'm a total noob in PVP. But then my boyfriend trained me how to use my Oracle in PVP. We battle against other level-gap players in a 2v3 or 2v4 match and we win most of the time. Sometimes we lose, but we always make sure that it's a close fight.

Kiko: Berserker and Oracle are a very good combination! FTW!

Kiko: How Did You Become So Strong Like That?

Gemeleigh: I always stay in pvp rooms looking for a good match. Sometimes I would go online just to play pvp matches. Before, I always join Ranked PVP because that is actually where you get the chance to play with pro PVPers. I also watch and join PVP tournaments because I can get tips in teamplay when watching how other team battle.

Kiko: Have You Ever Joined In A Gaming Competition?

Gemeleigh: We joined the e-Games iCafe Tournament at SM Mall of Asia last November 2010. Our guild had 2 teams for the competition. I belong to the 2nd team and we won 1st place. Our main team was the Champions.

Kiko: What Have You Learn From Playing Online Games?

Gemeleigh: I have learned that everyone has their own unique traits. We always differ on how we handle things that's why arguing is inevitable. You just have been patient and understanding, so you would be able to get along with other people, despite your differences.

Kiko: Most Unforgettable Moment in Playing Online Games?

Gemeleigh: I became the featured player in Dragonica PH. I am just a regular gamer and I don't have much to boast in-game, that's why I didn't think I would be featured. I was also glad because when I was featured, I didn't see any negative comment towards me, unlike the previous featured players. On a funny note, someone actually tried to imitate me, someone known in Facebook as GM Gemeleigh. I already warned the other players about this to prevent future scams.

Kiko: Anything Else You Want To Say to Other Gamers?

Gemeleigh: This is my favorite gaming quote: "Play HARD. Study HARDER. Pray HARDEST."

This was with regards of my improper use of Miss Ailyn Muhlfeld's photos in my blog. Here is the screenshot of the original blog post:

Honestly speaking, I'm not aware that I already violated the bloggers' code of ethics with regards to proper use of other peoples' image in my own blog. Before I made that post, Miss Ailyn asked me to fetch the image from her blog and use it in my blog post about her as Featured Pinay Online Gamer of the Week. After 2 weeks, I noticed that the image was not showing anymore in my blog, so, I visited Miss Ailyn's blog again and even though the image was right-click disabled already, I still managed to extract it from her blog and put it again in my blog. Though she reacted on how do I get those pictures from her blog, it didn't give me a hint that I already violated Miss Ailyn's right with regards in using her pictures in my blog. Not until Lex made me realized my mistake.

I want to make a public apology to Miss Ailyn Muhlfeld for using her pictures for my blog; thus violating Bloggers' Code of Ethics. I already removed her image in my blog; right after I read the comment of a concern blog reader / blogger; Lex.

Eileen: I started playing online games in 2006 and I was 14 at that time, I guess.

Kiko: How did You Learn To Play Your First Online Game?

Eileen: I first learned to play online games with the influence of my classmate, Bryan. He introduced me to RAN Online and eventually helped me with the basics of the game.

Kiko: What Is Your Strongest Character You've Ever Played / Made?

Eileen: The strongest character I ever made was a Shaman, level 58 out of I forgot the char limit in RAN Online PH. (So far, that was the strongest char I made. Weak. lol)

How Did You Became So Strong Like That?

Eileen: Actually, what I just did was to kill, kill and kill. I also just join parties and ask people to help me. I used my charm (*wink)

Kiko: Have You Ever Joined In A Gaming Competition?

Eileen: I haven't joined any gaming competition coz I'm intimated by the guys who dominate gaming competitions. Nevertheless, I'm dreaming of joining a gaming competition one day.

Kiko: What Have You Learn From Playing Online Games?

Eileen: I learned that you shouldn't be so braggart about the character you're playing esp. if you're superior from other players. Also, if you're a student and you're into online games, make sure to at least weigh up your academic and gaming life.

Ailyn Muhlfeld is a self confessed semi-addict Pinay gamer. She used to played some popular online games like Ragnarok Online, RAN Online, Cabal Online, Lineage II, and Maple Story Global. Currently, she is active playing Dragonica as "Fonyl" and Gaia Online as "Zomg"; while she is semi-actively playing other online games like Band Master, MAT Online, and Crossfire (known there as "hiatus"). Nakakatawa talaga. Lalo na kapag dumadating siya sa mga taong ayaw na talaga magmahal. Napansin ko nga eh. Parang kung gusto mo lang ma-in-love ulit, sabihin mo lang ang magic words na "Ayoko na ma-inlove!" biglang WACHA! Ayan na siya. Nang-aasar. Magpapaasar ka naman.

Di ba nakakatawa rin na pagdating sa problema ng ibang tao, ang galing galing mo? Pero 'pag problema mo na yung pinag-uusapan parang nawawalan ng saysay lahat ng ipinayo mo dun sa namomroblemang tao? Naiisip mong wala namang mali dun sa mga sinabi mo. Pero bakit parang wala ring tama? Bali-baliktad din ang nasasabi ng mga taong tinamaan ng madugong pana ng pag-ibig. "Ngayon ko lang nalaman ganito pala. Sabi ko na eh!" "Ang sarap mabuhay. Pwede na 'ko mamatay. Now na!"

At hindi lang 'yon. Ang sarap din pagtawanan ang mga taong alam naman nilang masasaktan lang sila eh magpapatihulog pa rin sa bangin ng pag-ibig. Tapos 'pag luray-luray na yung puso nila, siyempre hindi sila yung may kasalanan. Siya! "Bakit niya 'ko sinaktan?" May kasama pang pagsuntok sa pader yon, at pagbabagsak ng pinto.

Hayop talaga. Mauubos ang buong magdamag ko kakasabi ng mga bagay na nakakatawa 'pag pag-ibig na ang pinag-usapan. Ang daming beses ko na kasi siya nakasalubong kaya masasabi ko nang eksperto na 'ko. Pero wala pa rin akong alam. Pero ang pinakanakakatawa sa lahat ay ang katotohanang kapag gusto magpatawa ng pag-ibig, ipusta na mo na lahat ng Yes ari-arian mo dahil siguradong ikaw ang punchline.

Actually, I just requested for Book 6-10 of Pugad Baboy Series; but since I know that Book 10 was a little bit expensive (it worth P350.00), I put another set of 5 books (Book 11-15 of Pugad Baboy Series) as an alternative. I didn't expect that she bought it all for me as a gift! What so funny about this is that they didn't able to guess that I am "Wisedog" (the codename I've used in our exchange gift). No one might thought about it since "Wisedog" seems to be a bookish person (and I'm not look like a bookish one!) LOL.

It was exactly a month to go now before the biggest day of my life: MY WEDDING DAY. Yup, finally, after many years of searching for the "right one", I already decided to get married.

You might ask: how do I feel now? Excited, of course. We had planned this since last year; it took us a year to prepare. And now, we are on the last stage of preparation for our wedding day; that is why me and my fiancee was so busy this past few weeks.

Right now, we are waiting for our pre-nuptial shooting schedule. Hopefully, we'll have it on the last Sunday of this month (November 28, 2010). We still need to confirm to our photographer-videographer on where we are going to shoot for our pre-nuptial pictures. So excited for it!

We'll that's all for now. I'll just update my blog when I have some spare time. =)

New Barangay Chairman Won Via Coin Tossing

Quite funny but true. In Siargao Island, two candidates for Barangay Chairman garnered the same number of votes. It was really a deadlock for the two Barangay Chairman candidates. And how do they deal with it? They broke the deadlock with a coin tossing. Yup! According to Philippine Information Agency (PIA), coin tossing is a legal and acceptable way of settling deadlocks when candidates garner the same number of votes. Commissions on Elections (Comelec) and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) officials witnessed the coin tossing wherein Godofredo Sajol beat the incumbent barangay chairperson Apple Tiu. I just recently read it over GM Tristan's Blog wherein he said that this guy with a very simply youtube video easily goes viral over the internet and was also featured by Ray William Johnson; a very prominent and well-known video blogger in the internet. Dragonica PH Warrior-Knight-Paladin-Guardian Skill Build

After the Reign of Frost Patch in Dragonica PH, I've changed (again) my preferred skill build for Warrior-Knight-Paladin-Guardian path. With the help of a popular Dragonica PH Guardian, Direi, here is the must-have skills that I need to maxed out and focus on when I reach Level 75 as Guardian:

Warrior's Must Have Skills:

Storm Blade Level 1: Creates a deadly whirlwind to hit mid air 6 enemy targets. Targets chosen at random. Maxed out this skill while you are at Warrior and Knight stage; then leave it to Level 1 when you reset your skill at your Paladin stage.

Sword Dance Level 5: Throws your sword, hitting 7 enemies and knocking them down. The higher the level, the longer range you can throw the sword to your enemies. Main catcher during PVP.

Hammer Crash Level 9: Smash enemies with a giant hammer with a 90% chance to stun enemies. Monster card needed to add additional skill level to this skill.

Knight's Must Have Skills:

Aerial Smackdown Level 1: From mid-air, dash into the ground launching 5 enemies into the air. This can be an alternative launcher (for Spin It Bear) in preparation for for Storm Blade skill.

Spear Jab Level 2: A 5 combo attack with a broom that knocks 7 enemies down. Best opening skill followed up by Cross Cut or Sword Dance.

Spin It Bear Level 5: Summon the spirit of the bear to cast a spinning attack. Though it require high amount of MP, but its really powerful, a good launcher asides from Aerial Smackdown.

Shield Mastery Level 9: Permanently increases Blocking Rate and Physical Defense. For Blocking Type Guardian, this is a must be skill. Need monster card to upgrade its maxed level.

Dodge Level 9: Temporarily increases Blocking Rate for 30 secs. A must-have skill to improve with Shield Mastery. Need monster card to upgrade its maxed level.

Impervion Level 5: Although Impervion has been nerf in this patch, this is still helpful most specially in Battle Squares and Emporia Wars.

Paladin's Must Have Skills:

Joint Break Level 2: Attack 6 enemies at their joints to decrease their attack and movement speed by 40% for 5 seconds and slightly launch them into the air.

Weapon Suspension Level 2: Attack up to 6 enemies and block their attack action for 5 seconds.

Weapon Crasher Level 2: Attack up to 6 enemies, damaging them and decreasing their physical and magical attack power by 20% for 10 seconds.

Cross Cut Level 5: Attack 12 enemies with a powerful crosscut and knock them down. A good combo skills with Spear Jab and Sword Dance.

Iron Skin Level 5: Increase physical defense by +430.

Barricade Level 5: Transforms into a combat cop which cannot attack but has 55% higher defense. When this skill is used, 5 debuffs are removed and a level 5 slow heal is applied for 30 seconds.

Cockroach Life Level 5: If cast when HP is lower than 25% of maximum, it will instantly return 40% of your max HP and increase physical and magical defense power by 90% for 70 seconds.

Time Reverse Level 4: Toggles a buff that decreases casting time and cooldown time by 1.6 seconds by consuming 24 MP per second. (Level 5 Time Reverse has no difference on Level 4 Timer Reverse; they both reduce casting time and cooldown by 2 seconds.)

** I'm still practicing how to make good combo using Weapon Suspension, Joint Break, and Weapon Crasher with other Skills for PVP and PVE purposes.

Guardian's Must Have Skills:

Rolling Ground Level 5: Move quickly, and spin rapidly while moving forward in a straight line. Attacks up to 6 enemies 13 times.

Ascending Dragon Lv.1 : Ride an ascending dragon to launch standing or mid-air enemies with 6 rapid attacks. At skill level 5 fallen enemies can be hit.

Dragon Dive Level 1: With the power of the dragon, perform a diving attack with a powerful spin. Attack up to 6 enemies 6 times, with the final attack launching your enemies.

** I just leave the 2 awakening skills to level 1 since it seems I will rarely use it.

I hope this guide will be more useful than before for Warrior-Knight-Paladin-Guardian skill build.

Astig Na Graduation Speech

One of my friends in Facebook had shared this speech to me. This is a speech delivered by a La Sallian engineer during one of the graduation ceremonies at the UP College of Engineering. His speech is not like the typical speech you might already heard or will be hear during any graduation ceremonies. Here are some excerpts of his speech that really strucked me so much:

...Ang speech na ito ay hindi ko ginawa para i-acknowledge ang paghihirap ng ating mga magulang sa pagpapaaral satin. Hindi ko din ito ginawa para maghayag ng political statement, o kumbinsihin kayo na huwag umalis sa bansa at tulungan itong makaahon. Ang speech na ito ay para sa mga normal na estudyante na kagaya ng may may-ari ng transcript na hawak ko, dahil madalas, wala talagang pakialam ang unibersidad sa mga achievements nila. May mga awards na gaya ng “Summa Cum Laude”, “Best Thesis Award” at “Leadership Award.” Pero ni minsan, hindi pa ako nakakakita ng unibersidad na nagbigay ng “Hang-on and managed to graduate despite nearly getting kicked-out during his academic stay” award....

Eleven countries have competed in the recent Ragnarok World Championship 2010 held in Jakarta, Indonesia last October 2 and 3, 2010. Each team gave their best to win each matches; but at the end; only the strongest team was declared as 2010 Ragnarok World Championship Winner.

Our very own Team Philippines won 3rd place against Team Taiwan. For the 2nd and 1st place, Team Japan and Team Thailand goes head-to-head with each other. Team Japan got 2nd place after Thailand defeated Team Japan with the score of 3-1 and won the 2010 Ragnarok World Championship. It was Team Thailand's 3 Ragnarok World Championship Title (they already won RWC 2007 and 2008) and 4 consecutive Ragnarok World Championship Final 4 appearance. For Team Japan, this was their 2nd Championship appearance (they went to RWC 2009 Championship against Team Philippines and won); while for our Team Philippines, this was our 3 consecutive Ragnarok World Championship Final 4 appearance.

Ten (10) other countries will participate in Ragnarok World Championship 2010. These are: Indonesia, South Korea, Japan (2009 RWC Champion), Brazil, China, France, Taiwan, Thailand (2007 & 2008 RWC Champion), Malaysia, and United States of America.

Controversial Dragonica Hydra Server

It was almost 2 weeks ago since we start to experienced difficulty in entering into Dragonica Online PH Client. Lots of us wasn't able to login our accounts no matter how many times we try it. (some said they tried to login for almost an hour, but nothing happened) This is due to increasing number of gamers playing Dragonica Online on Philippine Server. That is why, E-Games annouced that they are going to open a new server hopefully by the end of September, 2010. Some find it exciting, many find it irritating. Lots of players said that E-Games should open new channels instead of a new server. But E-Games didn't do it.

Why E-Games decided to launch a new server instead of adding new channels? I think it is because the current Dragonica Online PH server (Wyvern Server) already reached its maximum limit. Even if they add new channels at Wyvern Server, it will not increase the number of players' capacity that the game server can hold; instead, it will just divided the gamers into smaller playing groups.

Let us assume that Dragonica Server is a Family Sized Pizza which is good for 16 persons only. If the pizza is divided for 16 persons or less, each will recieve a fair share of pizza, and everyone will be satisfy, right? Now, Let's divided the pizza for 32 or 48 persons, do you think anyone will be satisfy on what he will recieve? No. The best thing to do there is to buy another Family Sized Pizza so that there will be ample or fair share of pizza for everyone.

Same thing goes to game servers. We can't force Wyvern Server to accomodate 16,000 gamers if it can only holds 12,000 players. That is why E-Games dicided to open up the new Hydra Server for them to accomodate the increasing number of gamers playing Dragonica Online. They are doing it because they want to satisfy us to the best that they can.

For now, while there are single server available for us, I'm asking my fellow Dragonicans to be patient as E-Games doing their best to launch the new server as soon as possible. =)

It was no more than two months to go before the release of the last sequel of Harry Potter series: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; which was divided into two parts. The first part will be release by November, 2010 while the 2nd part will be release by July, 2011. Here are the excerpt of the movie synopsis of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1:
